HAZWOPER 40

This course is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Topics include protection against hazardous chemicals, elimination of hazardous chemicals, safety of workers and the environment, and OSHA regulations. This course covers topics included in 29 CFR 1910.120 (e).

HAZWOPER Refresher

All emergency response employees, with the exception of skilled support personnel, are required to have annual refresher training of sufficient duration and content to maintain their competencies. This 8-hour refresher course satisfies the annual training requirements.

Permit-Required Confined Space Entry

This course is designed to enable students to recognize, evaluate, prevent, and abate safety and health hazards associated with confined space entry. Technical topics include the recognition of confined space hazards, basic information about instrumentation used to evaluate atmospheric hazards, and ventilation techniques. This course defines the roles and responsibilities of attendants, entrants and supervisors.

OSHA10 for General Industry

The 10-hour General Industry Outreach Training Program is intended to provide an entry level construction worker's general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1910. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job. Students will receive a course completion card from the Department of Labor after completion of the course.

OSHA30 for General Industry

The OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors; the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Programs as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1910. General Industry workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on specific hazards of the job. Students will receive a course completion card from the Department of Labor after completion of the course.

Scaffolding and Ladders

This course is designed provide the student with an understanding of the dangers of working with scaffolds, and how these risks can be minimized by knowing the correct ways to erect, maintain and use scaffolding equipment and ladders.

Asbestos Awareness

Asbestos Awareness Training is required for employees whose work activities may contact asbestos containing material (ACM) or presumed asbestos containing material (PACM) but do not disturb the ACM or PACM during their work activities. This training consists of information regarding asbestos and its various uses and forms as well as protective equipment requirements.

Selection and Use of Fire Extinguishers

Per OSHA, if fire extinguishers are available for employee use, it is the employer's responsibility to educate employees on the principles and practices of using a fire extinguisher and the hazards associated with fighting small or developing fires. This course is designed to give students an awareness of how fires can start and how to select and use an appropriate fire extinguisher. Annual re-training is recommended.
