Teri Spaulding

Teri serves as the Office Manager for us and brings more than 20 years’ worth of sales and marketing experience to the company.

Dawn Roberts

Dawn currently serves as our  Training Manager.  A career firefighter/paramedic/ training officer with Springfield Township Fire & EMS.  She has been involved in all aspects of public safety education for the last 12 years. Dawn specializes in American Heart  ( BLS, ACLS, PALS, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, AED, and ACLS Experienced Provider) 

Dawn is also a State of Ohio certified EMS instructor, with success in education in the following areas: EMT, Paramedic, and Refreshers for both venues.  She is also certified with OPATA to teach CPR/ First Aid/ First Responder, along with radio operations and communication in the Law Enforcement arena of public safety. Dawn designed and facilitated a course curriculum for the Public Safety Telecommunicator (911 operator/dispatcher) which has proven success in the area of both Adult Education as well as the high school Criminal Justice program.  

Dawn is married with 3 children, and enjoy family vacations.  In her spare time ( which is minimal ) she enjoys cooking.  Dawn welcomes new challenges and
enjoy providing a positive learning environment for all students.  Dawn's goal is to provide a relaxed environment for the students to learn the material at
its simplest level, as well as understand the curriculum and confidently apply the associated skills.

Matt Nuessle

Matt has been with Spaulding and Associates LLC. since January of 2010, where he began as an intern assisting in origin and cause investigations and becoming a licensed investigator in Ohio in August of 2011. 

In May of 2011, Matt received a Bachelors Degree in Fire Safety Engineering with a concentration in Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigations from Eastern Kentucky University

 

Matt currently is a CFEI and CFII and a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators and the International Association of Arson Investigators.

Mike Long

Mr. Long has been in the fire service for the past 34 years starting his career with the Flint, MI. Fire Department and has investigated over 1000 fires and explosion incidents to date.  Currently, Mr. Long is the Fire Marshal for the Washington Township fire Department, serving as the Fire Marshal for the past 10 years. Mr. Long’s responsibilities include supervising the department’s investigation team and are the primary fire code enforcement official.  Mr. Long is also the secretary for the Miami Valley Fire Investigation Association, having held that position for the past 10 years.

Larry is currently a Deputy Chief with the City of Hamilton Fire Department. He has been in the fire service for 24 years and has served as a State Fire Service Instructor for 16 years. He also has also been a Hazardous Materials Instructor in confined space entry and rescue in both the fire service and on a collegiate level for the past 16 years.

Steve is one of our technical specialist in our evidence recovery and preservation divison.  As a firefighter/paramedic with the Middletown Fire Department, Steve has over twenty years of experience.  Currently, he is a member of the Butler County Technical Rescue Team, specializing in rigging and shoring.

Glenn Schlub

Glenn is a career Firefighter and Paramedic. He began his career in 1995 in Columbus, Ohio with a variety of fire departments in and around the Columbus area. In 1998 he moved to Middletown, Ohio and is employed with the Middletown Fire Department. Glenn is also involved with Hazardous Materials mitigation as well as Technical Rescue with Butler County.

David VanArsdale

David is the Chief of Police with the Middletown, Ohio Division of Police. He began his career in 1981 and has served as a patrol officer, street sergeant, shift commander and division commander.   Prior to becoming chief, David served as the Investigative and Support Division Commander, overseeing the Detective section, Special Operations, the City Jail and Police Records. David is also a graduate of the Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville.
